Biosketch
Dawniel Carlock Stewart, MS, PA, serves as additional faculty for the Northeast MSPAS program. Graduating from the WCU MSPA program in 2025, and pending her national board certification, Ms. Carlock Stewart has been fully involved in the Northeast PA program assisting the program team in advising on student policies and assisting in our admissions processes. Given her extensive background in women’s health, she will be helping the team to teach topics in OBGYN. In addition to her master's degree in PA studies, she holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas, Austin. Ms. Carlock Stewart’s background includes extensive work as a DONA certified doula, lactation consultant, and childbirth educator. She has also served as an academic advisor and academic counseling professional for the University of Oklahoma, Director for the Longhorn American Indian Council at the University of Texas’ Multicultural Information Center, and a news and sports department anchor, producer, reporter, and writer for KVR-TV’s Texas NewsWatch in addition to serving as a sports intern form KTBC-Austin. Ms. Carlock Stewart holds multiple honors and awards from both Oklahoma State University and the University of Texas at Austin, including the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society, Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honor Society, and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
