Biosketch
Amy Simolo, MS, EdD completed her doctorate in Teaching and Curriculum as well as a Certificate in Online Teaching from the University of Rochester鈥檚 Warner School of Education. Her Master鈥檚 of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology was attained from SUNY Albany. Dr. Simolo previously served NYCC鈥檚 faculty in the Academy for Teaching Excellence, first as the Instructional Technologist, then as the department鈥檚 Director, from 2011-2017. She later served the University of Scranton's faculty as Faculty Development Specialist. Dr. Simolo currently supports the faculty of Sacred Heart University as the Associate Director of Teaching Development in the Center for Teaching and Learning. Dr. Simolo developed and teaches ITP5160: Designing Online Courses for NYCC's MS Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction program.
