Biosketch

Dr. Anne Killen brings 30 years of experience in management, administration, and supervision across both the public and private sectors. She has held a wide range of organizational leadership and management positions, supported by a strong educational background that enhances her effectiveness in both administrative leadership and classroom instruction. Dr. Killen鈥檚 graduate education and professional experience provide a well-rounded foundation in education and management, with a particular focus on the unique needs of adult learners in higher education. She holds a Master鈥檚 Degree in Education and a Doctor of Management degree, along with graduate certificates in Human Resource Development, and Professional Training. With a passion for helping students realize their educational and career goals, Dr. Killen is especially committed to developing programs that prepare students for careers in in-demand fields, ensuring graduates are well-positioned to meet workforce needs and contribute meaningfully to society. She is also dedicated to supporting and advancing faculty, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth that enhances both teaching and research. Dr. Killen believes strongly in promoting opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to serve the community and contribute to the greater good, aligning with 九色导航鈥檚 commitment to serving humanity through health sciences education and practice. Dr. Killen has served as a peer reviewer for the Academy of Management and completed executive training in Leadership and Coaching at the National Leadership Institute in Adelphi, Maryland. Her contributions to higher education and lifelong learning have been recognized through several honors, including the Thomas G. Sheridan Leadership Award, and the 2016 William C. Hine Distinguished Service Award, a national recognition for her dedication to serving non-traditional students. In 2018, Dr. Killen was recognized as a North Syracuse Central School District Distinguished Alumna and inducted into the District鈥檚 Wall of Distinction.
