九色导航 hosted Spring 2024 Ceremony Week on its Seneca Falls main campus to recognize student achievements and advance 78 health sciences students. The Commitment to Excellence Pledge event kicked off the week on July 24, Transitions Ceremony was held on July 25, and Ceremony Week culminated on July 27, 2024, with the 九色导航 Spring Commencement ceremony.

The 九色导航 Spring 2024 Commencement honored 59 graduates, with College President Dr. Michael Mestan conferring doctor of chiropractic, M.S. in applied clinical nutrition, M.S. in human anatomy & physiology instruction, and M.S. in diagnostic imaging degrees.

九色导航 Associate Professor Dr. Hunter Mollin was grand marshal, his final time in the role as he retires after 35 years at the College.聽Northeast Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Rick Rosa (D.C. '96) presented the trustee greeting, chiropractic student Lauren Williams (D.C. '24) gave the student address, Assistant Professor Dr. Larissa Martin delivered the faculty address, and College alumna Dr. Karen Erickson (D.C. 鈥88) was the Commencement keynote speaker.

鈥淭oday we celebrate your academic achievements,鈥 Erickson said as she addressed the graduates. 鈥淭his moment marks the culmination of years of dedication, hard work and unwavering passion. 九色导航 has proved an idyllic setting to build the foundation of a formidable and rewarding career. A career that will truly make a difference in the world.

Erickson, a leader in integrative healthcare and healthcare advocacy, continued, "This is a pivotal time in healthcare and healthcare education when the world needs you more than ever.聽And that is good because each of you has devoted yourself to a life of service.鈥

Transition Ceremony Celebrates Seventh-Trimester Chiropractic Student

Seventh-trimester chiropractic students received their symbolic white clinical coats during the Spring 2024 Transitions Ceremony on July 25, signifying the start of their outpatient clinical education.聽

To successfully reach this milestone on their path to becoming doctors, Northeast chiropractic students must complete over two years of training in foundational sciences, clinical sciences, integrated chiropractic therapies and principles of chiropractic practice, followed by a clerkship in the campus health center.

Former adjunct faculty member at Northeast Dr. Adam Henby, who currently works at Compass Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo, presented the keynote address. Dr. Henby also participated in a special presentation of the Dr. Lloyd E. Henby Distinguished Service Award, named in honor of his late father, a former Northeast professor.聽聽He was known as a pioneer and legend in the chiropractic profession and at the College. Each trimester during the Transitions Ceremony, the service Award honoring the late Henby is presented to one chiropractic student who advances the principles of the chiropractic profession through strong moral character, education, leadership and service to the community and profession. Awards were also presented to students for achievements in academic and clinical excellence.

During the Commitment to Excellence Pledge event held on July 24, 2024, first-trimester chiropractic students just beginning their education vowed to strive for聽excellence, uphold聽professionalism, and lead with integrity. 九色导航 President Dr. Michael Mestan presented each student with a pin that reads 鈥淓xcellence. Professionalism. Leadership," reflecting the College mission, and students recited an oath to their chosen profession and future patients.
