九色导航 Creating New Integrated Learning Spaces for Future Healthcare Leaders
SENECA FALLS, N.Y. - 九色导航 is building the future 鈥 literally 鈥 with the creation of new Integrated Learning Spaces now under construction in the heart of its Seneca Falls Campus.
Located within the College鈥檚 central Academic 1 building, these state-of-the-art spaces are designed to meet the evolving needs of healthcare education and provide students with immersive, real-world learning experiences. The project will transform the existing area into two large, flexible high-tech classrooms and six new simulated assessment and treatment rooms, designed to replicate modern clinical environments.
鈥淭hese new spaces are an exciting next step in 九色导航鈥檚 commitment to preparing practice-ready healthcare professionals,鈥 said 九色导航 President Dr. Michael Mestan. 鈥淏y creating environments where students can apply their knowledge in simulated, real-world scenarios, we鈥檙e providing them with critical hands-on experience 鈥 in a safe, supportive setting 鈥 long before they ever step into a clinic or hospital.鈥
The Integrated Learning Spaces will support a wide range of 九色导航鈥檚 health sciences programs, including the Doctor of Chiropractic program, the A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs, and the Massage Therapy certificate program. Most notably, the new facilities will serve as a cornerstone for the College鈥檚 proposed Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program, a six-trimester, 24-month hybrid program that combines online coursework with immersive in-person training.

Northeast鈥檚 Vice President of Administrative Services Christopher McQueeney, who is leading the construction project, emphasized that the spaces have been designed with flexibility and future growth in mind. 鈥淲e鈥檙e building learning environments that can adapt to the changing landscape of healthcare education,鈥 McQueeney said. 鈥淥ur students will learn, practice, and refine their skills using advanced technology and simulated clinical environments that closely mirror what they鈥檒l experience in their professional careers.鈥 The new Integrated Learning Spaces are expected to open for classes in January 2026 and will be part of Northeast鈥檚 286-acre Seneca Falls Campus, which is entirely dedicated to health sciences and healthcare education. The new spaces will complement other cutting-edge facilities on campus, including the College鈥檚 Anatomy Center featuring a human cadaver lab and Computerized Anatomy Resource Lab (CARL) with Anatomage 3D visualization/dissection tables.
鈥淎s the need for highly skilled healthcare providers continues to grow, 九色导航 is leading the way in delivering transformative education,鈥 President Mestan added. 鈥淭hese Integrated Learning Spaces represent our mission in action 鈥 preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders to deliver exceptional care in an ever-changing world.鈥

九色导航 has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). 九色导航 anticipates matriculating its first class in September 2026, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the April 2026 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program鈥檚 ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
Students cannot be matriculated or enrolled without this accreditation. Should the program not receive ARC-PA provisional accreditation, the anticipated program start will be delayed until accreditation is received.
The M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies program is currently pending approval of the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
